The latest Web site to talk about the high cost of printing is IT Business, out of Canada. In an article called "The True Cost of Printer the writer talks about the hidden costs, such as ink and paper, power consumption, IT support, help desk support, etc. And there's some very good advice for small business owners -- for example, "If you know you're going to use a lot of paper, say 40,000 pages per month, then don't try to save yourself a few hundred bucks by buying a printer that's rated at 30,000 pages per month."
